A VERY GOOD QUALITY TREADMILL!!!!!, April 19, 2009

I just put my Proform 560 together and so far it is a very good treadmill.
It is definitely quiet and runs smoothly. You can walk and run on it and it does not make a lot of rambling as much as other cheaper treadmills. My workout was for 30 mins with no problems. The programs to operate are really self-explanatory and manageable. I was very nervous about damages and missing parts, but all of the equipment was in the box and functioning appropriately. As for assembling the treadmill, everything was very easy. It took me and my father a little over 1hr to get everything completed. Actually the belt and the monitor was already together when we pulled it out of the box; the treadmill folds up which is how it came out of the box. I’m glad I can fold it to take up less space. So the only thing we had to do was place the handles on and the smaller accessories that were to be attached to the treadmill. Overall, I made a very good choice on this machine, plus I did get it for a very reasonable price at Academy for only 499.00. This so far is a definite keeper.

Deck broke after two years, January 6, 2010

Worked well while it lasted. No problems with motor, incline, and belt. However, the deck broke after two years of constant use, and I weigh far less than their max weight. I had hoped to get more than two years of use out of it…
