The process is simple: waving your hand over the right sensor causes the treadmill to speed up, while waving your hand over the left sensor causes it to slow down. To increase the speed in larger increments, just hold your hand over the right sensor continuously. And should you need to stop suddenly, simply place one hand over each sensor at the same time. Once you master the system, you can safely and efficiently adjust the speed by any increment at any time.The Easy-Up treadmill is also equipped with a powerful 2.5-horsepower continuous-duty DC motor with a PWM control system, along with a large 52-by-20-inch walking surface that’s cushioned to provide a minimum impact on your joints. The four LED windows, meanwhile, make it easy to track such workout details as your time, distance, incline, number of laps, pulse, and calories burned. And Phoenix added three speed programs with 20-, 40-, and 60-minute durations, along with programmable heart rate, time, and distance programs. Other details include a speed range of 0 to 10 miles per hour, a heavy-duty steel frame that holds up to heavy use, and a power folding mechanism that makes storage easier. The Easy-Up treadmill measures 67 by 46.5 by 36 inches (W x H x D) and carries a 90-day warranty on parts and a one-year warranty on the frame.
